Here we go again with a new series of mixes from Conny Plankton unleashed onto an unsuspecting world. Loosely based around trying out the possibilities of the rather excellent Lush 2 VST synth from the D16 group, this soon expanded to included synced up sessions with various software and hardware. The results are varied taking in everything from full on non stop rhythmic assaults, to ambient soundscapes, to industrial dystopia. The title of Never on Sunday came from a strange piece of flotsam found on a beach in Northumberland. This seemed based around an old theme of Never on Sunday as a happy drunk propping up a lamppost. The found object features in the title track, and the final track shows a copy of the family ornament on the same theme from my childhood. Strange repetitions...
