Grinding industrial emptiness where sheets of abrasive textures surge back and forth in a bleak atonal landscape preface us through a beat-based onslaught with the MC505 Groovebox: The Atonal and the Rhythmic work together in a strange kind of harmony. This Mix was developed with various solo outings from the Hive VST Synth in synch with the Groovebox via MIDI, with the source sessions edited down, reduced to loops and key samples and then rearranged and multi-tracked in Ableton.
